Polar and I traveled to the 3rd Lincoln Douglas Debate in Jonesboro, Illinois. On September
15, 1858 Abraham Lincoln and Stephen Douglas fought over a seat in the senate. Lincoln lost the debate to Douglas. We traveled 73.4 miles by car on March 23, 2012. The Latitude and Longitude for this site is 37.448593/-8.281029. The close has now traveled a total of about 6563.28 miles!
